CONSUMER RIGHTS – WITHDRAWAL – CANCELLATION AND REFUND TERMS
Hot Air Balloon Tours
You may cancel your hot air balloon reservation up to 24 hours before the scheduled experience and receive a full refund.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled departure time, the amount paid is non-refundable.
Changes requested less than 24 hours before the scheduled experience cannot be accepted.
If the flight is canceled due to adverse weather conditions or an official decision by the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority, you may choose either:
- A free rescheduling to the next available date, or
- A full refund without any deductions.
GENERAL TERMS
By completing a booking electronically through the Cappadocia Trip Travel website, you acknowledge and accept the applicable Preliminary Information Form, Distance Sales Agreement, and this Cancellation and Refund Policy.
All bookings are governed by the Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, the Regulation on Distance Contracts, and other applicable legislation.
If any shipping or delivery costs apply for physical products, such costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise stated.
Purchased services shall be delivered in accordance with the booking confirmation, voucher, itinerary, or other supporting documentation provided by Cappadocia Trip Travel.
If the booked service cannot be provided, Cappadocia Trip Travel will notify the customer in writing within three (3) days and refund all eligible payments within fourteen (14) days, unless an alternative arrangement is accepted by the customer.
PAYMENT ISSUES
If payment is not successfully completed, reversed, declined, or canceled by the issuing bank or payment provider, Cappadocia Trip Travel has no obligation to provide or reserve the requested service.
If a reservation is made using an unauthorized or fraudulent payment method, Cappadocia Trip Travel reserves the right to cancel the booking and pursue all available legal remedies.
FORCE MAJEURE
Cappadocia Trip Travel shall not be held responsible for delays or inability to provide services resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Adverse weather conditions
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Civil Aviation Authority decisions
- Transportation disruptions
- Public emergencies
In such cases, customers may request:
- Rescheduling to another available date,
- An alternative service of equal value (where available), or
- A full refund if the service cannot be provided.
Eligible refunds are generally processed within fourteen (14) days. The time required for funds to appear in the customer's account depends on the relevant bank or payment provider.
BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITY
The buyer is responsible for reviewing all booking details, including tour date, pickup location, departure time, and service information upon receiving the booking confirmation.
Any discrepancies should be reported to Cappadocia Trip Travel before the scheduled service begins.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Under Article 15(g) of the Turkish Regulation on Distance Contracts, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation, transportation, leisure, tourism, or recreational services that are scheduled for a specific date or period.
Accordingly, hot air balloon flights, guided tours, transfers, and similar tourism services booked for a specific date are generally exempt from the statutory 14-day withdrawal right.
However, Cappadocia Trip Travel voluntarily offers the cancellation conditions described in this Policy, including the 24-hour free cancellation option where applicable.
RETURN AND REFUND CONDITIONS
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
If a refund is approved, Cappadocia Trip Travel will initiate the refund within the legally required period.
Processing times may vary depending on banks, payment processors, or credit card providers.
SERVICES NOT ELIGIBLE FOR WITHDRAWAL
The following services are generally not eligible for withdrawal after confirmation or commencement:
- Hot air balloon flights scheduled for a specific date.
- Private transfers.
- Daily tours and guided excursions.
- Accommodation reservations.
- Leisure and tourism activities performed on a specified date.
- Services that have already begun with the customer's prior approval.
DEFERRED PAYMENTS AND LEGAL CONSEQUENCES
Customers remain responsible for any interest, fees, penalties, or other obligations arising from installment or delayed credit card payments according to their agreement with the issuing bank.
Cappadocia Trip Travel shall not be responsible for banking fees or financing costs imposed by third-party financial institutions.

Payments may be made using one of the following methods:
- Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, and other supported cards)
- Bank Transfer
- EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
Available payment methods may vary depending on the selected booking and country of residence.
